Keynote Speaker: Frank Abagnale

Frank Abagnale

Frank W. Abagnale is one of the world’s most respected authorities on the subjects of forgery, embezzlement and secure documents.  For over forty years he has lectured to and consulted with hundreds of financial institutions, corporations and government agencies around the world.

Mr. Abagnale has been associated with the FBI for over four decades.  He lectures extensively at the FBI Academy and for the field offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  He is a faculty member at the National Advocacy Center (NAC) which is operated by the Department of Justice, Executive Office for United States Attorneys. More than 14,000 financial institutions, corporations and law enforcement agencies use his fraud prevention programs.  In 1998, he was selected as a distinguished member of “Pinnacle 400” by CNN Financial News. Today Mr. Abagnale is a member of the Board of Editors for Bank Fraud and IT Security, as well as the Financial Fraud Law Report. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the LexisNexis Fraud Defense Network, as well as an Advisory Board Member of the University of New Haven Masters in Investigation Program.

 

Keynote Speaker: Dimitri Delis, Ph.D

Managing Director, Senior Econometric Strategist | Piper Jaffray Strategic Analytics Group

Dimitri Delis is a Managing Director in the Piper Jaffray Strategic Analytics Group (SAG) in the Fixed Income Department.  He is responsible for evaluating economic trends, analyzing current economic issues, developing econometric models and making economic presentations to clients.

Prior to joining the group in 2005, Delis served as the cross-sector strategist for JP Morgan. Prior to the JP Morgan-Bank One merger, he was the derivatives strategist for Bank One. Dimitri’s experience includes market risk management for ABN AMRO where he was responsible for identifying and monitoring all market risk-taking activities for the derivatives and FX trading desks and bond modeling for Solomon Brothers’ proprietary portfolio tools.
Dimitri Delis holds a Ph.D. in nuclear physics from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and mathematics from the University of Chicago. He completed his Master of Business Administration degree at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2006. He is a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
 
 
Keynote Speaker: Liz Holland

Liz Holland is the Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel of Abbell Associates. Liz is responsible for overseeing all business and legal matters, including development, financing, leasing, capital and construction projects, and investor and tenant relations.

Active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Liz served as the first Vice Chairman (2015-2016); Chairman (2016-2017) and currently serves as the Past Chairman on the Executive Board and the Board of Trustees.

In addition to ICSC, Liz is also a member of the Real Estate Roundtable and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) – Commercial & Retail Council – Blue. In February 2017, Liz became a Trustee of Federal Realty Investment Trust (FRT). In January 2018, Liz joined the Board of VICI Properties, Inc. (VICI), a gaming and hospitality real estate company.
